IPad Pro and Keyboard Issue

IPad Pro And Keyboard

When I bought my IPad PRO 9.7 I included a keyboard that also doubles as a  cover. This also  connects via the magnetic port.  I didn’t realize the material covering the keyboard is like a dust magnet that catches all kinds of stuff.

And when the cover is closed can scratch the screen of the iPad even when wiping off. In my case that’s what happened. So, using one of my apple care incidents I returned the iPad and got a new one.@

Researching For Case Protection

But this time I wanted to save the iPad from ware and tare so elusive abuse that it could endure as part of my photo workflow is kept nice and clean.

I researched cases and covers for the new iPad Pro and choose the otter box  defender. With the IPad in the otter case you’re unable to use the keyboard any longer.

Microsoft Folding Keyboard

So, I shopped around and found the Microsoft universal folding keyboard to work quite well with blue tooth on the iPad. I’m still getting used to the split on the keyboard and that will come with practice.

I also like that the keyboard folds to approximately the same size as a CD jewel case.

So far this keyboard has been used primarily on this post.

Slight Case Issue But Fixed

I also purchased the Shure MV88 microphone. How does this relate to the keyboard? Doesn’t really , but with the otter case on the IPad my MV88 would no longer plug into the IPad.

So, just a heads up get a small extender that will allow lighting devices to be used while in the case.  (just posting the cable I purchased. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GP08858/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). I liked it because I can plug into my otter case and can use my microphone.
