There are managers and leaders. There is a difference between the 2 types. Leaning too far in either direction:
1. You could have an ineffective manager who barks out orders and tasks which will lower overall productivity
2. You could have an ineffective leader who doesn’t possess at least a basic understanding of management.
Finding those who have some of each skill requires more than logic, but a gut feeling about someone is when they stopping running around without a clue as to what to do next.

A foot soldier is eye (I)…I think not all can be captain…some gotta be crew :)!!!
Also, what you said is absolutely right – it takes a leader to be a good manager, so they can lead by an example…..without forsaking their humanity and compassion 🙂
