I know, I know. Such a cliche. Well, I would have been if I added “On The Wall”. Or would it be?? 🙂
Forget about what’s in your closet. What do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you see demons, a good person or a big zit?
Mans Image Is Our Own
For all practical purposes and technologically speaking I see my face, my image, myself. As a higher form of life we’ve been taught that the image is ours or is it? Other animals don’t see themselves like we do. Dogs and Cats bark at the image thinking that it’s just another animal just like them.
Past And Present Reminders
I see an older guy that temporarily zones to past thoughts and feelings almost like when looking thru an old photo album. Something future generations won’t have because things are going digital quickly.
Coffee Table Books
No more thoughts of the coffee tables (https://www.amazon.com/slp/coffee-table-books/yfrtxr8set5o9of) with picture books to thumb thru. But, as I age, I feel comfortable looking in the mirror because I always see someone I know. And, that is comforting because I feel happy too.
Let us never know what old age is. Let us know the happiness time brings, not count the years. Ausonius
