3DART :- Prayer Is Powerful

I Believe In Prayer Is Powerful

Not all people believe in prayer and that’s OK. Maybe they find solace and answers in other ways. But, prayer has helped me. I’ve prayed to not drink anymore over and over and over again, then it finally took and haven’t drank for nearly 30 years.

One And Many More

And, that’s only one story where prayer saved my life. But, the only way this worked is that I was persistent with the prayers. I never stopped praying and still pray every night. Maybe you have some of the same type of stories. Feeling despair often has me questioning but I still pray.

Not Everyone Will Pray

Not everyone will pray but they’re all seeking something. Some who pray want something too. I’m more often giving thanks for another day of life! Each day that I can I try to share something that is a wonderful thing for me to do.

Prayer On Decline

Prayer in America is on the decline. The millennial generation is the least religious of all generations in recent history. The share of Americans who say they are “absolutely certain” God exists has dropped more sharply, from 71% in 2007 to 63% in 2014.

I Need Further Research

I’ve not found much information on how people believe today. Someday those who believe will be an extreme minority. And, I did not find much on research other than science and research firm information.

I’m Not A Good Steward

However, I’m not a good strewed of my days but am continuing to learn that I need proper balance between things. Some days I get home and ponder existence and how small we are in the cosmos. Then listen to some Alan Watts www.youtube.com/watch?v=khOaAHK7efc.

I’m still looking for what to do…

  1. God is good and faithful. I am really glad to hear that prayer have saved your life. “For nothing will be impossible with God” Luke 1:37. If I can encourage you, never stop believing in God even if everything around you is falling apart, always remember that God is in control. He has a plan for you, so don’t focus on your current pain but trust his process. Most of the time, we end up dissapointed by ourselves because we are trying to change or stop drinking with our own strenght, reason why we always fail. We are trying to change things that only God can change forever. God’s timing is always the best, may God bless your heart 🙏🏾
