Science and technology is, and will change lives. But, what part of that life will still be life if we are slowly turned into a trans-humanized people!
Death is something as a species we all face. Currently no one can escape. Rich poor, young, old and man women child. All.
Two Important Dates
There are no do overs and the time between birth and death should be cherished as our vanities will be part of our downfall. The desire to live in perpetual eternity is something that a large segment of society has thought about and wants.
Some technology will be beneficial for sustaining life and only extending it by a few years and we still clamor for those last gasps and breaths. So, that means there is something special about life.
How Old Will We Live To Be
Many texts have been written about how man can only live to be 120. Even in the news you never hear about any of the centennials living past that date. So, does that make the texts correct?
I would say life in the hear and now is interesting. But, more important realize that before it’s too late. Occupy your thoughts with life and not death and trying to extend beyond what you’ve been given.
Is Resistance Futile
Yes, resistance is futile as we all wind down. I await what lies beyond life. And, when I find out, I won’t be able to share what I find and that is part of this mystery that keeps us all guessing and wanting to live on for ever.

1. In Star Trek, part of the standard message used by the Borg when they encounter an alien race they intend to assimilate into their collective.
2. In other uses (such as gaming), uttered by somebody about to launch what they believe to be an all-out and unstoppable attack against an opponent with the intent of conquering/defeating them in one fell swoop. Only to be used if you want to announce your presence.
3. Also used by a victor just after having utterly crushed an opponent.
1. WE ARE THE BORG. LOWER YOUR SHIELDS AND SURRENDER YOUR SHIPS. WE WILL ADD YOUR BIOLOGICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL DISTINCTIVENESS TO OUR OWN. YOUR CULTURE WILL ADAPT TO SERVICE US. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.
