Push The Boat Out

Celebrations are hard fought and
won at the expense of our loss and despair.
We celebrate by masking our sadness.
Nevertheless coalescing the two
we create a bridge between past and present.
While thoughtfully blending our
soulful thoughts in ways not yet discovered,
our celebrations become our ancestor’s celebrations.
Living in the moment. The here and now,
is how we honor them. All our Mothers,
Fathers, Brothers Sisters, Aunts, and Uncles.
That’s right family!
My family.
Your family.
Our families.

Love ya’ll,
Joseph

Push The Boat Out-Go all in for your family.

If you would get into this rickety boat you might be surprised that others will follow. Style isn’t about having all the money in the world the fastest cars, and biggest homes.  Having money does help in many cases, but isn’t everything.

So, when you “Push The Boat Out” celebrate big with your family. Make family celebration the thing that you splurge on the most.  All the other trappings are toppings for the dessert.
