Money Well Spent
Love, cupid and billions upon billions of dollars spent for love and forgiveness. We prey on the multitudes and make them feel guilty for not buying their loved one any thing for this day of love. Who’s your special love interest and are they expecting something wonderful? Or eh…
Full Day Of Love
For me I decided to to do a full days of valentine day postings with images I’ve created for the day, thoughts & Ideas, and of course some cool public domain poems that I’ve liked.
NOT CHEESY ENOUGH
Sorry for all the cheesy, well not cheesy. Just reminds me of the day when I was running BBS systems. My BBS was customized to automatically do complete changes of my themes based on the holidays I wanted to showcase.
Change Is Rapid
I could do the same here I suppose, however, were are in the digital age and testing for the common mobile devices can be time consuming. And, I’m not sure if people would like custom types of themes like that. The world is a big place and has changed.
Love In The Middle Ages
Did you know that during the Middle Ages, it was commonly believed in France and England that February 14 was the beginning of birds’ mating season, which added to the idea that the middle of Valentine’s Day should be a day for romance.
Hopefully I can get all postings done by tomorrows days end. Scattering bits of info with each post.
ENJOY THE DAY!
Of Love: A Sonnet
Robert Herrick, 1591 – 1674
How love came in I do not know,
Whether by the eye, or ear, or no;
Or whether with the soul it came
(At first) infused with the same;
Whether in part ’tis here or there,
Or, like the soul, whole everywhere,
This troubles me: but I as well
As any other this can tell:
That when from hence she does depart
The outlet then is from the heart.
