3DART :- The Offering Of Duty

The Offering Of Duty
The Offering Of Duty

I was experimenting with morphs and poses for this creation. It’s amazing that in a digital world we can create images of all types and meanings. We’ve become “ICON”, ‘MEME”, “EMOJI” based thinking  people and often those little images are taken out of context. Or at other times my meaning is not the same as yours’s.

Not Necessarily Wrong Context

That doesn’t mean that we’re both wrong. That means we have different perceptions of things. And, those perceptions are based on persons places and things that you’ve come to know and understand.

To reach out and understand others is not necessary. But, if you want to grow and learn that’s exactly what you must do. Reach out, become visible and vulnerable.

Quotes I Like About Offering

What’s important to me is offering perspectives into worlds that people don’t often get to see. Do you know what I mean? From angles they don’t often get to see. Ryan Coogler

As the humanities and liberal arts are downsized, privatized, and commodified, higher education finds itself caught in the paradox of claiming to invest in the future of young people while offering them few intellectual, civic, and moral supports. Henry Giroux

Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters. Albert Einstein

In my deepest, darkest moments, what really got me through was a prayer. Sometimes my prayer was ‘Help me.’ Sometimes a prayer was ‘Thank you.’ What I’ve discovered is that intimate connection and communication with my creator will always get me through because I know my support, my help, is just a prayer away. Iyanla Vanzant

The Offering Of Thought

Offerings of anything can be accomplished. Some offerings come with near term hardships. And, when you offer freely without expectations, fog can be lifted from our everyday thinking. At least it frees up my thinking.

Also, when we have first contact with an image such as the image for this blog posting, initial thoughts will be a driving force as to whether or not someone takes action. You might not like this blog post image, but I’m hoping you at least read beyond the image. Our rush to judgement is defining a bad precedent.

Peace, Violence, Misunderstandings

A Mexican flag, USA flag, Russian Flag, Chinese Flag. Flags of distinctions and of people that stand behind the flag that symbolizes its people. And in this charted up world, my offering is this:

If you want to live in a foreign country respect and honor the flag of its people. Regardless of what you’re thinking about the laws, the laws in those countries were meant to protect the citizens of the country your visiting. If your trying to arrive illegally. The offering is deportation.

Rushing a boarder, creates images, that turn against you and your cause. If you’re truly trying to better yourself and your family. I offer 6-month visa only. At which point further evaluation should be necessary and a requirement for continued access.

Some closing Thoughts

Yeah, all points of view that some will not like. So, what is your solution? What images conjure and excite your thinking?

True honest thought and debate will be our saving grace with any offering of this magnitude.

Thank you! For visiting this post! Your time and interest are truly appreciated. If you found the content engaging or thought-provoking, please feel free to share your thoughts or insights in the comments.
