Silent Too Long
Freedom Freedom Freedom…I’ve been pretty silent on the home front expressing my opinions. We have so many of them. Opinions that is. We are in such a state of flux, that our opinions don’t seem to matter much to anyone.
Let me take that one back. Oops I didn’t have to put it in print. It’s not like I’m recording and need to record. Backspace, Backspace.
Freedom Can’t Say This Enough
Freedom, freedom, freedom. Freedom, is something that should be God given. I do understand that some form of governance might be required and there are several types of freedoms. Don’t be confused yet. OK?
Common Opinions
Oh, you’ll find a few like I’ve done that share some of your opinions and values. I guess what I’m saying is If you find my opinions good or bad please let me know.
Either way I’m open to discussions on topics that I’ve expressed an opinion on or you expressing an opinion on one of my topics. Or topics we’re both interested in and your attempting get me to understand your opinions.

Freedom Is Important For All
Our freedom is being eroded little by little with each passing day. It seems that news based on opinions and not based on true verifiable facts is helping erode the first amendment.
Internet Speed Spreads News Quick
And that’s where the speed of the internet comes in. Long term and long running stories stand a better chance of verified facts. While those that want to be first with news read by thousands often don’t verify anything to a great extent.
Viral Postings Have Issues
In a viral POST the first image, thought or idea is what remains in people’s minds. A viral posting by anyone has heavy consequences when information is not verified. Or we should have periodic disclaimers thru out a broadcast.
Radio And Television Delays
Radio and Television when dealing with live broadcasts have by law a requirement to delay the broadcast for up to 30 seconds to prevent objectionable content from being aired. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadcast_delay and the FCC has information as well https://transition.fcc.gov/eb/Orders/2006/FCC-06-17A1.html
Modern Digital Communications
Has modern digital communications gotten past various indecency laws and regulations? Videos uploaded to YouTube, are not time delayed when live. Facebook live doesn’t have delayed content. Everyone with a device that can take video and pictures can turn anyone into a reporter.
Are Live Broadcasts Delayed
News agencies are going with straight live content without delay! How now can they get away with that? I don’t know. I see things changing and wonder if you do too?
Communication Delivery Has Changed
We’ve come a long way with our current communications since George Carlin’s seven dirty words you can’t say on TV or Radio. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_dirty_words

b: a generally held view news programs that shape public opinion
