Economy Numbers yeah! When, I saw this on the front page of the drudge report today, I was happy! The economical numbers are just awesome. But, are we headed to a nowhere that some won’t return?
The record numbers for homelessness and drug use show a completely different indication or does it?

So, what is the correlation behind booming economy and the numbers behind those facts regarding homelessness and drug use?
Is This Our Icarus Moment

Son of Daedalus who dared to fly too near the sun on wings of feathers and wax.
Daedalus had been imprisoned by King Minos of Crete within the walls of his own invention, the Labyrinth.
But the great craftsman’s genius would not suffer captivity. He made two pairs of wings by adhering feathers to a wooden frame with wax.
Giving one pair to his son, he cautioned him that flying too near the sun would cause the wax to melt.
But Icarus became ecstatic with the ability to fly and forgot his father’s warning.
The feathers came loose and Icarus plunged to his death in the sea.
Where Are We Headed
That is a very good question.
We can’t very well keep up with what’s going on 3000 miles from us. Nor can we keep track of what’s going on around the globe. If you think about it most live in a small bubbled world. Sort of.
We have our local and current events to occupy our thinking. With that said, as Icarus approached the sun and his wings begin to melt, he had nowhere to go but down. This can happen locally and globally.
Small Reminders Be Vigilant
This serves as a small but gentle reminder that we should be a little more prepared for what could happen to all of us in a heartbeat. At least when I see this, I can use the good times to get ready for what may or may not come. Staying prepared and ready for anything.
