Nurses Week
Nurses week begins this week and I thought I’d put together a weeks grouping of posts about nursing and ideas that I’ve found fascinating. Artificial intelligence is changing and will be a disruptive force in healthcare.
Nursing is on the verge of technological change that will be game changing for patients they serve and the healthcare they administer.
Artificial Intelligence

AI is increasingly being used the world of medicine for early detection and diagnosis of cancer – for example, for X-ray interpretation with lung cancer. This is definitely a space to watch. Just because something sounds like it fits better within the world of sci-fi, rather than in the real world, doesn’t mean that it can be ignored
AI has been designed to search and identify a selected cancer via xrays and imaging tools. https://nypost.com/2019/03/05/ai-trained-to-identify-lung-cancer-is-now-as-smart-as-a-pathologist/

Also to help kick off the week for our nurses and sometimes those nurses are the first responders!
Data Security
Security of health records is a must. As data breaches have been encountered time and time again. Measures to safe guard health records and information becomes a life and death issue. If in the wrong hands.
THANK YOU!!!
And, sposing your not in need of a nurse but a little rock therapy!
