I’m not much for genetic engineering of food because as people we don’t know what the long term effects on all populations will be. There are pros and cons for it’s use.
Important finds from known and new sources have found medical need for some genetic engineering but not all. So exercise caution.

I read this and thought, we need to devote more resources to this technology and to account for standards and safe practices that can be built on by all.
The technology should be open sourced so that those with bright new ideas are able to use there passion for projects that could benefit mankind.
