I really enjoy finding new bits of information that can be found by researching treasures by browsing the internet. Once, I find my focus and that can take some doing. :-). When I found this link I thought I definitely have to find out more information about this topic.
Why do you suppose that people are more willing to replace humans with Robots fueled by AI?
I’m not sure how many are ready for a deity to be an AI creation. https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1091915/Japan-robot-God-robot-buddhist-Kyoto-temple-Kannon-Bodhisattva
Having been raised catholic and in later years, basically a Christian or at least I try and follow that path. I’m not a scholar on the issue of theology but, know darn well, that this is wrong on so many accounts.
When, we start replacing God with artificial intelligence. what will that mean to us as humans? It could be any God that people worship or believe in.
I’m not perfect nor will I ever be perfect, but when you read the bible and focus on Exodus…
Exodus 20.3 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
I’m compelled by our actions with creating deities like this.
I’m compelled by the very nature of man’s willingness to abandon humanity.
At some point in the future, AI based robots might replace human companionship.
I suppose this post is more like a mini-rant to get some insight on Robots and AI that someday might be our next God or therapist.
