WE KNOW THAT

We know that media companies filtered and stopped news from sources that they deemed unacceptable and censored actual news from being reported.

WHAT WE KNOW, JOSEPHKRAVIS.COM, INFP, HUMAN RIGHTS, HUMAN BEING, HUMAN
WHAT WE KNOW

We know that the constant attack of legitimate news sources by corporate and government interests causes people to turn to alternative news sources for information and the creation of their news narrative.

We know that the growth of big media corporations since the 90’s has dramatically decreased news staff and journalists and that “reality” and “truth” are no longer part of the news coverage.

We know that the rise of technology has aided in the growth of these fake news platforms. And we know that the rise of artificial intelligence may take over the news industry altogether.

We know that “truth” is not a topic that is at the top of any politician’s agenda.

We know that “hate speech” is a legitimate topic for discussion. We know that hate speech is legal. We know that the First Amendment protects hate speech and that “hate speech” can, and should, be regulated.

We know that hate speech is a subjective topic.

We know that a leading cause of hate speech is discrimination of different groups in society.

We know that every ethnic or racial group has hate speech against itself.

We know that we are in the midst of a social revolution where the voices of the oppressed are finally being heard.

We know that every oppressed group is entitled to their own rights. We know that every oppressed group is entitled to their own activism. We know that we should not use hateful rhetoric against another human being.

We know that the celebration of international human rights day on December 10 is an important reminder to make sure that human rights are for everyone.

We know that every human being has the right to freedom of speech. We know that every human being has the right to be heard. We know that every human being has the right to be empowered. We know that every human being has the right to health care. We know that every human being has the right to access clean drinking water. We know that every human being has the right to safe transportation. Every Human!

We know that every human being has the right to live in a safe environment. We know that every human being has the right to have an education. We know that every human being has the right to food.

We know that every human being has the right to live without fear. We know that every human being has the right to live free from the tyranny of poverty. We know that every human being has the right to live in dignity.

We know that the human rights movement is a long one and will require many decades to achieve. We know that it is easy to forget about the struggles of previous generations, but we are all human beings, and we must be willing to stand up to defend and respect all human rights.

We know that everything starts with a very simple conversation with your children, your neighbors and with your friends and colleagues.

We know that standing up for human rights means standing up for every person.

We know that it’s not about standing up for your ethnic group or your religion or your sexual orientation. We know that it’s about standing up for the rights of every human being.

We know that by taking action we will be challenging those who try to spread hate and fear through social media and the corporate news.

We know that we must continue to ask ourselves: What is the right thing to do? How can I help? How can I be of service? How can I help? How can I stand up for someone else?

We know that when we stop trying to convince others that we know what is right, we can begin to focus on listening to those who disagree with us. We will listen to the hatred and hate speech, the discrimination and inequality, and we will decide for ourselves where we stand and what we want to do about it.

We know that the movement for human rights must not stand and hide. We must stand and take action. We must make our voices heard.

We must continue to fight for human rights!
