Got a long way to go.
Got a long way to go.
Saw a beautiful painting on a wall,
one of those paintings that says “God is good. Life is good.”
Got a long way to go.
Got a long way to go.
It had a quote underneath, so I didn’t get it at first.
It said, “Be patient, or your spirit will fade.”
A chill went down my spine, a bad feeling.
I thought, “That’s where I’m going to fail.”
Got a long way to go.
Got a long way to go.
“Why am I not patient?” I asked myself.
I needed patience to overcome the deepest dark of my soul.
I had to endure it because I was tired of being out in the cold.
Got a long way to go.
Got a long way to go.
In the midst of my pain, I felt God right in my heart,
reminding me that He knows my deepest pain.
“I love you with an everlasting love. I long for you even now.
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Got a long way to go.
Got a long way to go.
God was speaking to my heart through the words on the painting.
I read it over and over and over.
God had spoken
God had spoken
to my heart through a simple, beautiful painting.
It wasn’t “just a nice picture,” it was a gift
God sent to show me that His love is greater than any pain I’ve felt.
Marvelous things happen.
It’s easy to see it must’ve felt for all those lost and lonely days.
Got a long way to go.
Got a long way to go.
God had spoken
Everything has beauty.
In this world
Words Words Words
Technological breaks good for the brain.
Some words that I’m using for a song I’m working on. Sometimes things get busy. I mean, not busy, just thousands of hours of procrastination and letting life slip by.
You know the routine. Up in the morning, do some stuff than sleep and sleep and repeat process. Sometimes I have that moment of clarity where I need to create the best way I can.
Enjoy the words.
