Self-worth In The Shadows is how I often see myself. Lost, alone and yearning. So, I’m sharing a poem and some images that express some of how I feel. Not everyone will get it, and that is OK. I’m working on inner healing after many years and theses postings are for my memory. Your as well, if you like! 🙂

In the land where light often forgets to tread, A journey in silence, a whisper unsaid, “Self-worth In The Shadows,” is my anthem alone, An echo of silence, a shudder in bone.
Lost like a star in the cosmic abyss, Yearning for warmth, an ephemeral bliss, Straining to hear a melody’s sound, In the quiet corners where hope is found.
From the depth of darkness, in despair’s tight grasp, I reach out, and in solitude, I gasp, Desperately seeking a sign, a token, A light to guide when dreams seem broken.
The echoes of laughter, the whispers of love, Are quiet reminders of the stars above, That in the vast canvas of night so deep, Each is a promise our souls must keep.
Yet even the lost can learn to rise, To seek the dawn and yearn for skies, That burst with the blush of a newborn day, A testament to resilience, in shades of gray.
For the shadows aren’t just the absence of light, They are a testament to our strength, our might, To the battles fought in silence and fear, The victories unseen, yet oh so clear.
Through the darkness, a truth I’ve found, In solitude’s grip, we’re never bound, For each shadow carries a piece of the night, Yet still, within it, glimmers quiet light.
So, here I stand, not lost but found, In the shadows, I am profound, A beacon of self-worth unseen by day, In the shadows’ silence, I’ve found my way.
“Self-worth In The Shadows,” is a chant of the soul, An affirmation of strength, making us whole, For in each shadow and in each tear, Is the power of self, standing clear.
Yearning, yet hopeful, lost yet found, In shadows deep, our truths resound, That we’re not alone in this vast night, We’re stars simply waiting for our time to ignite.
