  1. Hi Joseph,

    I like your workaround!
And I am a bit confused as how to put your suggestion into action.
Could you elaborate a bit more how to get from your example to a working solution for any request to Out-GridView?

    Thanks a ton,

  2. Dear Joseph,

I wanted to put your nice workaround into action but wasn’t able to do so.
I tried to execute parts of your script but I can’t get it to work with arbitrary headers.

Could you elaborate a bit more, what steps to follow to get those headers included?

    • Hi Dennis,
This solution will fit into most any scenario. What are you trying to do and I can show you how to put this into play for you.
      Thank you,

      • Hi Joseph,
        thanks for your quick response!
I want to have the headers in the list when I am doing e.g.
        Get-Process | ogv
I tried to define the array like you did before and tried to paste parts of your script into the shell, but to no avail.
Can you give me a little bit more step by step instructions ;)?

      • Hi Dennis,
Please look at a new post I’ve created with further explanations. PowerShell – Out-GridView Headers (Using Get-Process)
        on creating simple report headers.
        Thank you,

  3. Hi Joseph,

thanks a ton for this elaborate update ;).
I have a liking for well done documentations and learned by following along your lead.

  4. Looks good!

  5. Excellent post Joseph, I’ve been almost at the point of despair when I think about the future for younger people. Especially since, as technologically adept as they are they’re still completely ignorant of basic security practices.

  6. Great post Joseph. I’ve been near complete despair watching young kids, and by that I mean even into their twenties, just clicking next, next, next, on applications someone told them to download. As technologically adept as they are they’re still completely ignorant of basic security.

  7. Sorry for your loss and that was such a beautiful tribute

  8. I like your post 😊.

  9. The sharpness when I clicked on it is pretty fantastic.

  10. From wikipedia a nice read about cryptocurrency.

  11. What a great story.

  12. Someone else recently suggested visiting virtual museums or the likes to me… if you know of any great ones feel free to share.

  13. An interesting read!

  14. So true.. and I still love the clouds πŸ™‚

  15. That was awesome I bet. I watched it all in tv, lol

  16. What a wonderful post that rekindles similar memories. I lost my oldest brother this year so I can totally relate.

  17. Automation is an opportunity for everyone to modify and adopt to this new reality. Being prepared is a good way to stay ahead of the game.

  18. Couldn’t agree more my friend!!!!

  19. Nevertheless you

  20. I was really touched by your words my friend! I don’t know if you should retire, but I’m sure you should never stop being creative as you are now, I wish I had the time to be more consistent with my flckr and blog friends, so I could write more often, but my reality is demanding. So my friend, know that lots of us enjoy your posts so much, even if we don;t say every time. So…Keep going!

    • Thanks Amanda! I don’t think I’ll retire just yet. I would like to find a gig that is fun. And, one that allows for various forms of creativity. I think doing the standard stuff day in day out is not very fun any more. I’m looking for fun gigs. πŸ™‚ I’ve been exploring creativity and it has allowed me to enjoy coding again. So, if a fun gig comes along, I just might take it.

  21. I love the expression!

  22. I don’t think you’re ready for retirement at all.. so best wishes that you find some fun gigs to give energy to your creativity.

  23. A foot soldier is eye (I)…I think not all can be captain…some gotta be crew :)!!!

  24. Also, what you said is absolutely right – it takes a leader to be a good manager, so they can lead by an example…..without forsaking their humanity and compassion πŸ™‚

  25. Great post, I hope it happens in my lifetime :). Happy weekend!

  26. I totally agree with you Joseph, overexposure of the body is just BORING!!!β™₯

  27. God is good and faithful. I am really glad to hear that prayer have saved your life. “For nothing will be impossible with God” Luke 1:37. If I can encourage you, never stop believing in God even if everything around you is falling apart, always remember that God is in control. He has a plan for you, so don’t focus on your current pain but trust his process. Most of the time, we end up dissapointed by ourselves because we are trying to change or stop drinking with our own strenght, reason why we always fail. We are trying to change things that only God can change forever. God’s timing is always the best, may God bless your heart πŸ™πŸΎ

  28. Your work is just amazing Joseph! Makes me want to get into the setting! In a way you took it further than your source of inspiration!

  29. Now Joseph! This is what I meant with what I sai in my previous comment! You created a beautiful dream that no photographer can make in reality! I love it!β™₯

  30. I love this concept Joseph! I’m actually very interested in what is happening in the outer space! Apart from this, I think you’re very talented in styling too! Thank you for sharing!β™₯

  31. Excellent thought dear Joseph! But why did you choose the Greek word or ‘eleven’ as the title? Just curious!β™₯

    • I have always thought and heard that when 11 11 is combined it has special meaning or I think more and more people are seeing 11 11 and I thought perhaps it was a good title what do you think.

I always love the mysteries of the world.

      • I also get attracted to mysteries! Ancient civilisations had discovered the power of numbers, such as the number Ο€! I m amazed at how much people knew in the distant past!

  32. Great information, just feels way over my head. πŸ™‚

  33. The female form is good viewing especially if crated with a sensitivity of Art Form. What is not OK is ” ground standing” meaning we are sick and tired of porn shots.
This poor female in the Porn Industry drugged up held captive against their will. This is a hazardous industry. To subject graphics, nude shots is a crime against women everywhere. Draw lines. Respect all females. We take pride in sharing our ladies in style and at all times beautifully styled. Women are sensitive and very vulnerable, show respect, treasure the female form as you would your Mother. Fancy posting your mother in a Porn article. Oh noπŸ’”.

    • I appreciate comments and thoughts that can stir conversations within me. Once, in a while, I’ll do an image like the one I did, but, not often or hardly at all. There are many images that can be found in a click or two on the internet that are in my opinion in bad taste. I don’t wish to do those types of images at all. Thanks so much for the comment !

  34. Merry Christmas Joseph πŸ•Š Thank you for the support from the team πŸ’™

  35. Amen!

  36. You have a splendid n a different blog !! Do read my post and follow my blog if you find it worth !! Feedback comments are more than welcome !!

  37. You know Joseph, in a few more decades this won’t be happenning (the lay-offs) as most of the working population will be ‘older’ guys, but unfortunately modern society is so slow to respond to changes and so quick to disregard…One good thing in retirement would be that we’d see more of your great posts (I hope!) Hugs!

  38. This is definitely the way of the South! Bluejays and blackberries tell the weather here.

  39. I so love this song! I particularly like the Jose Feliciano version! Thank you for sharing Joseph!

  40. Boo to those who arrest the honest! Jail those who hide, not publish, the truth! G-d bless w-leaks and Jassange!

  41. an interesting development that will be followed up by different groups and people

  42. I so loved reading this! It’s so ridiculous some of the stuff that is happening today.. and what a lovely story regarding your brother.

    • Alexa, Thank you for that nice comment. I think we all have life moments that make sense to talk about. And, with what’s going on in the news with this article, it struck a nerve with me. The memory of that day, is still a good one. πŸ™‚

  43. Now companies are considering banning all types of physical contact. Um, mouth to mouth will have to be rethought.

  44. Thank you for sharing these amazing pics! Almost felt as if I were there!

  45. I really enjoy your point of view about gears and the passage of time.

The analogy is really fitting for a person to view how they fit within the gestalt of our world.
And it first begins with self knowledge to discover what kind of ‘gear’ one is!
Next, one has to find where they fit in!

    You’re very smart!
Thanks for helping me think about my life in a different light.

I’m going to look at my work in Newsography slightly more differently to see how those gears fit in.

    Thank you!

  46. An epiphany I had this morning. πŸ˜ƒ

    … And insightful.

  51. Great video, we do forget to dance, when we are caught up in the world’s idea of how we should live. I gave those ideas up, I went back to my nature, and I dance to my hearts content. Your words are so strong. πŸ™‚ thank you.

  52. I had to watch the video a couple times. Inspiring.

  53. Hahah space goddess and the line on don’t blame me. I have a good imagination. Simply awesome man

  54. Merry Christmas dear Joseph! What lovely pictures you composed again!!I think over worry is a modern lifestyle syndrome, panic attacks are more severeβ™₯

    • Thank you so much Amanda! . I really liked how this image turned out. And, yes I do over worry a bunch! And occasionally have the panic attacks. They can keep me from going places. But, I’m trying to learn some tools to help. Such as mindfulness along with CBT-i.. Progress and not perfection. πŸ™‚

  55. Agree with your perspective re Christmas Presents. What about the gift of Clarity as a Christmas present?! I wrote an article on my website titled “The Gift of Clarity” – – Feel free to check it out!

  78. You have beautifully described this clourful festival of Holi. A very happy Holi to you too! God Bless.

  79. You know Joseph…There is good in every evil…I think this virus brought us closer in separating us, don’t you think?

    • Amanda/Kalliope , in some ways we as a people have come together. This virus is also bringing out the worst and best in people. I’d also would like to think that countries are not cheering for the demise of our western freedoms. They would not say publicly if they were. A great tragedy in all of this would the loss of freedoms that the free world currently has.

  80. Well, with this shortage of toilet paper, being full of it can be a good thing.

  106. I am the opposite of you, Joseph, I don’t know anything about technology. The reason I own a computer (or started a blog) is because my girlfriend got tired of hearing me up late on my type-writer. And that is a true story. But everything you do on this site looks great to me. Well done.

  107. Beautifully written! The tapestry of life is indeed a vast cosmic trail of diverse experiences and connections, all woven together to create a stunning masterpiece.
