Happy Saint Patrick’s Day, and shazam here today and gone tomorrow so if you’re anything like me, you’ve just realized that it was just like yesterday…
Prose & Poem
An Oldie But Goodie. Well most songs are starting to become oldies but goodies. 🙂 I have many fond memories of the sixties.
In winter some say to see the spring early it’s not the groundhog, but the Winter blue Jay. 🙂
Yeah, yeah, words and images can mean different things to different people. It’s all about the context of usage and display that grips your senses.
After I took this photo I really liked the look and feel of the image conveyed. The morning dew and mist felt dreamy like. So, hence the quote by Eleanor Roosevelt.
“There are no extra pieces in the universe. Everyone is here because he or she has a place to fill, and every piece must fit itself into the big jigsaw puzzle.”
I was touched when I read the poem below and I thought how true for anyone of us. i don’t know about you but I’m such a poor steward of my time. The many times that I’ve bought things that went unused just so I could have them around. Just In Case. Just In Case. Just In Case.
I thought it would be nice to create a background for my two prose’s. Read larger if you must it is a must must you will I’m told.
Just want to do a shout out to my fellow Marines and just say Semper-fi. I am and always will be a Maine. Thank you guys and gals for all you do to make keep our country safe.
Celebrations are hard fought and
won at the expense of our loss and despair.
We celebrate by masking our sadness.
